We recognize the significance of staying connected with your camper while they are at summer camp. Here are instructions on how you can maintain communication while they are away.
Mail is distributed once a day at lunch. Please only send a letter a day. If any letters are received after 12pm, they will be provided the next day.
Campanion:
We’re striving to bring parents closer to their camper’s experience, and this summer we’re using an amazing new app called Campanion to do just that.
To get started, follow these simple steps:
- Use your CampMinder Account email address and password to log in
- Upload a photo of your child, which enables the app to send you photos of your camper over the summer
- Ensure you have push notification enabled within your phone settings so you can receive important updates from camp all year long!
Using the Letters feature in the app, you’ll be able to write emails to your camper. We’ll also upload handwritten messages from your camper, which you can read right in the app.
Next to stream, there are three dashes that you can click to see the menu. There you will find “Letters”, click the envelope icon and select the pencil to write a message. If you want them to receive a reply page, select “I want a handwritten reply” and send your letters.
CampStamps:
You will have access to CampStamps on the web if you cannot use the app and prefer to send a note online.
How does it work?
- Select the camper you would like to send mail to. Be sure to click “Send Email” at the bottom of the page.
- If you would like a reply, checkmark the box “I would like a handwritten eLetter reply to this email’
Postal Service Mail:
You can send mail to for your camper to Camp Bob Waldorf at 1041 Shirlyjean St. Glendale, Ca 91208. Provide them with supplies to reply, and we will assist with outgoing mail daily at camp. Staff encourages replies but cannot guarantee responses.
